The Bancroft Farmers' Market will kick of a new season with the first market date on May 18 and the weekly market will run through to October 12, 2024.
We will be set-up at at the market to chat with people about how to help the Ontario Turtles.

BANCROFT FARMERS' MARKET

The market will feature a wonderful variety of local artists, designers, craftspeople, and vendors with an eclectic mix of delicious homemade baked goods, local produce, handcrafted items, and so much more..

Think Turtle Merchandise
We have a variety of items that will be available to purchase that help raise awareness and support turtle conservation efforts.
Think Turtle has t-shirts that feature a unique turtle-themed design and a different awareness message. Other items of interest include Watch 4 Turtles signs (wooden and coroplast), car magnets, bumper stickers, and other turtle related merchandise available to purchase. We will also have I HELP Turtles car magnets, t-shirts and pinback buttons as part of a new awareness campaign this year. .The proceeds from merchandise sales goes towards supporting the education initiatives and species recovery efforts Think Turtle Conservation Initiative is engaged in.
Crafting 4 Turtles Items
There will also have a selection of 'Crafting 4 Turtles' (C4T) handcrafted items available for purchase. The proceeds from all C4T sales will go towards treating and caring for injured turtles admitted to the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre, home of Ontario's turtle hospital, this turtle season.
We look forward to catching up with old friends and meeting new friends at the market.

The new "Maynooth Market" Dave and Kelley Hunt have organized starts in August.

Note: The new Market is not weekly and is scheduled for August 17, August 31, September 21, September 28, October 5, and October 12.
The Market will be a treasure trove for everyone, featuring a diverse range of local artists, craftspeople, designers, and vendors. From jams, jellies, pickles to hand-sewn items, crochet or knitted apparel and household accessories, jewelry, pottery, glass, bath and body products, candles, original fine art, wood products, maple syrup and more, there's something for everyone.
Think Turtle will be set up on August 17, August 31, September 21 and October 5.
Make sure to stop by our booth! We're excited to have a conversation about how each of us can contribute to the protection of Ontario Turtles and the resources available to support turtles in Ontario.

These items include crocheted and knitted turtles, unique jewelry, home decor, and more inspired by turtles. Each item is a unique piece of art, lovingly crafted to celebrate the beauty and importance of turtles. BANCROFT CRUSADERS YARD SALE
Saturday September 28th is the big day! The "Bancroft Crusaders" are hosting their annual autumn yard sale with all proceeds from the yard sale items going to the Relay For Life - The Canadian Cancer Society.

THINK TURTLE
The Bancroft Crusaders have kindly allowed Think Turtle to set up at this event with a selection of over 500 DVDs to choose from. Lots of great titles! Everything from feel good movies, to tear jerkers, kids movies, period piece dramas, comedies, action, animated, etc. There are some box sets as well. Stock up on DVD favorites!
The DVDs for the yard sale will be priced at $2 each.
$1 from every DVD sale will be donated to the Bancroft Crusaders to go Relay For Life and The Canadian Cancer Society.
$1 from every DVD sale will go towards helping the turtles.
