Visit Think Turtle at Seedy Saturday
As spring approaches, turtles will soon begin emerging from brumation. The Think Turtle Conservation Initiative team will be on site to chat about simple, practical ways you can help protect Ontario’s turtles.
We will also have some of our conservation-themed T-shirts, car magnets, fridge magnets, stickers, pinback buttons, “Watch 4 Turtles” signs all supporting education and conservation efforts.
We look forward to seeing you on March 28 in Bancroft, ready to grow gardens, grow knowledge, and grow community.

Expect everything from delicious homemade treats, local honey, and maple syrup to hand-sewn treasures, vintage finds, cozy knitwear, pottery, art, woodwork, candles, and so much more. Whether you’re hunting for something sweet, something special, or just soaking up the friendly community atmosphere, there’s truly something for everyone.
Think Turtle
We’ll be there too! Stop by the Think Turtle booth to learn how you can help protect Ontario’s turtles. We’ll have our popular Watch 4 Turtles signs, car magnets, stickers, t-shirts, earrings, and other turtle-themed goodies, some educational, some just plain fun. Every purchase helps support our education programs and efforts to recover turtle species. Small actions really do add up!
Crafting 4 Turtles
You’ll also find a wonderful selection of handmade items through our Crafting 4 Turtles initiative, created by talented makers from the community and surrounding areas. Look for crocheted turtles, festive cards, turtle-inspired home décor, and other creative surprises. Best of all, 100% of proceeds from these special items go directly to caring for injured turtles at the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre, home to Ontario’s only turtle hospital.

What to Expect
This event welcomes families and brings together healers, artists, and community groups to support wellness and cultural awareness. It’s a great opportunity to explore wellness offerings, cultural teachings, and artisan goods in a friendly and uplifting setting.
Free Admission – All Are Welcome!
Artisans from the region, including painters, knitters, and crafters, will showcase their unique handmade creations. It’s a great opportunity to find something special and support local makers.
If you’re curious about energy healing, want a mini reading, need natural wellness products, or want to enjoy the community atmosphere, you won’t want to miss this day.
The venue is accessible, with wheelchair-friendly washrooms and parking, including additional parking behind the building. There will be food vendors on-site, and you’ll also find cafés, a gas station, and local shops within walking distance.
Think Turtle Will Be There!
We’re excited to talk with you about Ontario’s native turtles, your turtle stories, and ways we can help these ancient animals thrive. The Think Turtle table will feature turtle-themed items such as conservation t-shirts, Watch 4 Turtles car magnets, signs, and more. All proceeds go directly to turtle conservation and education.
Think Turtle will also offer handcrafted “Crafting 4 Turtles” items, with all proceeds supporting medical care for injured turtles at the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre, which is Ontario’s only turtle hospital.
