Burke’s Barnyard’s 6th Annual Trick-or-Treat & Halloween Market

Halloween Fun Returns to the Boulter Hills!

Costumes, candy, farm animals, and plenty of Halloween fun are coming together once again as Burke’s Barnyard hosts its 6th Annual Trick-or-Treat & Halloween Market on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 12:00 to 6:00 PM.

The event takes place at Burke’s Barnyard, 4169 Boulter Road in Carlow, Mayo, surrounded by the beautiful Boulter Hills.

Best of all, admission is free with the donation of a non-perishable food item for the North Hastings Community Cupboard, making it a fun day out that also gives back to the community.

Here’s What’s Happening

Trick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt – Explore the farm and collect sweet surprises!

Meet the Animals – Say hello to the friendly chickens, ducks, and turkeys!

Games & Activities – Pop Over Parties is back with Nerf blasters, target practice, tug-of-war, and more!

Face Painting – Add a little spooky flair.

Local Halloween Market – Shop unique handmade goods and seasonal treats.

Sweet Treats – Grab a candy apple and a hot chocolate to warm up!

This outdoor event is open to all ages, so grab your costumes, your friends, and your camera and head on over!

Think Turtle Will Be There

Think Turtle Conservation Initiative is looking forward to joining the Halloween fun again this year.

Stop by the Think Turtle table to talk turtles, learn more about Ontario’s eight native turtle species and the challenges they face, and hear about some of the conservation, rescue and education work happening here in North Hastings and beyond.

We will also have a selection of turtle-themed items available, including T-shirts, car magnets, earrings, and handcrafted creations from our Crafting 4 Turtles project, with a few Halloween creations mixed in for the occasion.

Purchases from our Crafting 4 Turtles collection help support the turtles receiving care at the Ontario Turtle Conservation Center, Ontario’s turtle hospital, with 100% of those proceeds going directly to support the turtles.

Make a Saturday of It

This outdoor event is open to all ages, so grab your costumes, your family and friends, and your camera and head on over for an afternoon of Halloween fun in the Boulter Hills.

And don't forget to bring a non-perishable food item for the North Hastings Community Cupboard.
