Maynooth is the place to be this December 13th. Join us for a festive day full of holiday cheer, unique shopping, and community celebration. From a bustling Christmas Market and a visit with Santa to a tree lighting ceremony and the annual parade, it’s a day you won’t want to miss.

This is the seasonal event you’ve been waiting for. Explore an exceptional range of vendors offering handcrafted jewelry, woodwork, soaps and candles, baked treats, preserves, cozy knitwear, and other unique creations, perfect for thoughtful holiday gifts.

If you're feeling hungry, outdoor food vendors will be serving up hearty baked beans, warming soups, hot drinks like coffee, cider, tea, and hot chocolate, and an array of baked goods to keep you energized throughout the day.

Think Turtle Merchandise

Visit the Think Turtle booth for a range of turtle-themed gifts, everything from car magnets and bumper stickers to holiday earrings and keepsake tree ornaments (just $5 each). You’ll also find ten turtle t-shirt designs, combining style with a great cause: supporting turtle conservation.

Crafting 4 Turtles

Support the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre with purchases of handmade turtle-themed gifts, including crocheted turtles, festive cards, and home décor. Every item contributes to the care and recovery of injured turtles in Ontario’s only turtle hospital.

Meet & Greet with Santa

Santa will be at the Hastings Highlands Library from 2:00 to 3:30 pm.

Please arrive before 3:30 pm, as the library will close promptly at 4:00 pm to participate in the tree lighting and parade.

Christmas Tree Lighting

Join the community in the courtyard at 4:00 pm for the official tree lighting ceremony.

Brighten the Night: Santa Claus Parade

The parade begins at 5:00 pm.

Floats are welcome—no pre-registration required. Just have your float decorated and ready at Logger's Field (104 Young Street, Maynooth) by 4:00 pm. Arrive early if you'd like your float to be judged and considered for prizes.
